Self-Evaluation Coming in January

You will each be receiving an evaluation form for the BCF program on which you will be asked to describe how you have shared the BC content and focus with others in the past year, along with your plans for 2020. For those certified in 2018, it is the expectation that some specific efforts have been expressed and shared with the larger community. There are exceptions, of course, for those who have been ill or have someone in their immediate family with a serious illness. For those certified in 2019, please consider what plans you have for 2020.

Current Plans and Programs

Thank you for those who have notified me of your involvement in BC related events that you either have led in 2019, or are planning to lead or co-team next year. I would like to post these events on my website and, when there is room, to also post on my monthly e-newsletter. In order for me to do so, you will need to send some basic information to me. Below is a sample of the information needed to be sent to me for posting:

Updated Annotated Bibliography

A big ‘thank you’ to Kim Voyle for her work on updating the bibliography. It is now much more user friendly due to Kim’s sorting out the resources, correlating and placing them within the “Weeks” of the Boundless Compassion book. Heather Glenn has posted this bibliography on the BCF site under Resources. Please visit the site and take a look at it. I hope it will be of use to you. Also, please note there are some new books added to the annotated bibliography.

Joy and Peace for Each of You

As we approach the celebration of Christmas and stretch toward the new year of 2020, my heart fills with gratitude for your presence and your giftedness, for your generosity and loving heart, for your desire to invite others to grow in being a compassionate presence.

In the coming year I will have much less travel and more time to dedicate to my connection and support of you and your BCF work. I look forward immensely in doing so.  In the meantime, may the Christmas season be one of ever deepening peace within you and around you.

With gratitude and abundant Christmas joy,
Joyce

Self-Evaluation for certified Boundless Compassion Facilitators coming in January

I Love You and I Am Sorry

Sit with your feet on the floor and your eyes closed. Take a few deep breaths. Now imagine your loved one in front of you. Look deeply into this person’s eyes. If it feels right, tenderly cup his or her face in your hands. Let your heart expand and fill with love, acceptance, and compassion for this person. When you are ready, say, “I love you and I am so sorry.”  Surround him or her with light.Continue to breathe deeply. When this feels complete, open your eyes and take a long cleansing breath.
