Evergreen,
silent sentinel of hope
through all seasons.

Somewhere
deep within me
an evergreen grows,
strong, tall, resilient,
always singing
of life.

Her stouthearted green
endures, thrives
amid winter wilds.

She is strong.
She is evergreen.
She lives in me.
