Pam Robertson of Talking Joy Has a Conversation with Joyce
In this conversation with Pam Robertson, Joyce Rupp discusses Jesus, Guide of My Life and offers reflections for the Lenten Journey. The Lenten season is framed as a spiritual journey that prepares us to celebrate Easter and new life. Joyce invites us to set aside a few minutes each day to read a verse of scripture and prayer response. Then sitting quietly, allow the Spirit’s wisdom to speak to you and, if you choose, write a brief prayer reflection yourself.

AWARDS
Prayer Seeds: A Gathering of Blessings, Reflections, and Poems for Spiritual Growth by Joyce Rupp has been chosen for a Spirituality & Practice Book Award as One of the 50 Best Spiritual Books of 2017.
In 2000, Joyce Rupp, a member of the Servite (Servants of Mary) community and co-director of the Institute of Compassionate Presence, gathered her prayers together in Out of the Ordinary. Prayer Seeds is the follow-up volume with more than 100 never-before-published prayers.
In the introduction to this paperback, Rupp recalls how seeds fascinated her when she lived on a farm in northwest Iowa. Like Thomas Berry who stated that “to plant a seed is to activate the deepest Mysteries of the Universe,” the author harvests meanings from these harbingers of new life.
